Kristen Cardiasmenos headlines her 3-5 piece Psychedelic Rock group The Kristen Cardiasmenos Project.  Kristen is a Bluesy, Funky, and Psychedelic Guitarist and composer who studied with Bay Area Masters Garth Webber (Miles Davis) & Stevie Gurr (Dr. John). Kristen's guitar playing is deeply inspired by Jimi Hendrix, who remains a big influence on her sound.  Kristen started playing guitar at age 10, at age 21 she began playing in blues clubs and dives.  Kristen later joined a P-funk tribute band (Purifiedment Funkensurance) with original members in 2015.  After years of experience playing in a variety of groups, Kristen and Drummer Ryan Scott Long formed The Kristen Cardiasmenos Project.  Kristen's music is a diverse mix of Santana, Pink Floyd, P-Funk, Herbie Hancock, The Doors, Cut Chemist, Del The Funky Homosapien, Lauryn Hill and many other influences.  Currently, The Kristen Cardiasmenos Project has just released "Dope Affair"(2025), which is their 3rd release following "Under Quarantine" (2021) and "The Awakening" (2017).
